The villa

La Castellana, is an elegant farmhouse nestled in the Veneto countryside, originally a hayloft dating back to the 1700s, now a B&B and holiday home. The house is the result of a skilful restoration in 2007, a perfect combination of natural materials such as clay, stones from the Piave River, and wood. The fusion of these materials make the house unique, perfectly set in its natural context, with the large windows that give light to the wide hallway, blending in harmony with the elegant garden. The structure has 5 rooms on 3 floors, all double rooms with en-suite bathroom, one room is an attic room with 3 double beds, for a total of 13 people.The rooms are simple but very relaxing, enveloped by the warm colour of the clay in the walls.The furnishings are antique, the floors of the rooms in natural wood. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, fully equipped with 2 fridges and freezer, dishwasher, hob, and gas oven, and with a laundry room next door. The ground floor room is accessible to the handicapped, because there are no steps.The garden of about 5000 square meters, with vineyards and orchards is perfectly maintained, and completely enclosed, the very large swimming pool 10×5, and immersed in the vineyard, with around 3 gazebos, deckchairs, tables, and chairs and barbecue. The pool is always open and lit.
